UPDATE: Davido lost dear Son • Domestic Staffs in Police Custody • Death investigation in Progress

The Lagos State police reported that the eight domestic staffs that work for David Adedeji, popularly known by his stage name Davido have been taken to the police station for questioning over the death of Ifeanyi, his 3 year old son.

According to the reports, the command’s spokesman, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, on Tuesday confirmed this to the press.

He said, “Eight domestic staffs who work at Davido’s Mansion have been brought in for thorough questioning. Anyone found not guilty will be let off the hook and released”

He further went on to say “But those who are found guilty will be indicted,”

 Ifeanyi was reportedly said to have drowned in a swimming pool located in Davido’s home at Banana Island on Monday.

The lad died three days after celebrating his 3rd birthday.

Reports has it that the boy was rushed to Evercare Hospital in Lekki where he was pronounced brought in dead.

The couple were said to have traveled to Ibadan on Monday for a family gathering and had left their son, Ifeanyi in the care of his guardians.
