THE House of Representatives candidate for Ndokwa/Ukwuani Federal Constituency on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Hon. Nnamdi Ezechi and the party’s House of Assembly candidate for Ndokwa East, Prince Emeke Osamuta, have assured their respective constituencies of honest and transparent representation.

They assured that they will not betray the confidence, trustand mandates to be bestowed on them after the election.

The duo gave the assurance while addressing crowds of the party supporters during their just concluded community-to- community campaigns in the area. The PDP candidates, who were overwhelmed by the intimidating crowds of supporters and massive defections from opposition parties, expressed conviction that Ndokwa people were undoubtedly PDP followers.

They asserted that their emergence as the party’s candidates was not a misplaced priority, pointing out that they would remain committed to the tenets of democracy and the PDP manifestos. Hon. Ezechi and Prince Osamuta requested the party leaders and supporters to intensify their efforts to deliver all the party candidates during the upcoming elections.

Hon. Ezechi in his speech noted that it was necessary to appreciate Ndokwa West and Ukwuani local governments PDP leaders for conceding the post of next House of Reps member to Ndokwa East and urged Ndokwa East people to grab the opportunity by voting massively for PDP. He promised to make a difference in his representation at the National Assembly when voted into office, especially on youths and women development through empowerment and job creations.

Prince Osamuta regretted the gross under development of Ndokwa East communities, attributing it to swampy nature of the local government area. He remarked that as a riverine terrain, Ndokwa East needed special government attention for rapid transformation and vowed to formulate all-inclusive representation policies and programmes that will propel his over sight functions after his inauguration into the State Assembly.

“I will change the narrative for meaningful and sustainable transformation of Ndokwa East communities”, he said.

The PDP Campaign Director General in the local government area, Elder Chike Ugumadu and the party chairman, Chief Vincent Osilonya, who also spoke during the campaigns, applauded the people for sustaining their supports for the party. They urged them to be courageous in casting and protecting their votes on the election dates.
