NPC, Udu Office, Commences Screening Of Adhoc Staff

IN preparation for the conduct of the 2023 Population and Housing census scheduled to begin from March 29 to April 2023, the National Population Commission (NPC) office in Udu has commenced the screening of ad-hoc staff.

The screening exercise took place at the Council Secretariat in Oto rUdu, the headquarters of Udu Local Government Area, Delta State. According to the NPC officer in Udu, Mrs. Augusta Asaboro, the screening was mainly for persons that applied through the recruitment portal and was strictly by invitation, whereby the documents upload­ed will be sighted for accuracy.

She said it was important for the applicant to appear physi­cal so as to know the person behind the application and also to ensure that recruitment was for only deserving candidates.

She also urged agencies in charge of publicity to create awareness by using different media to enlighten the public for the exercise to achieve its desired purpose.
